Sky digibox Sky plus is
a new set top box and service which integrates the existing
Sky digibox with Personal Television Recorder capabilities.
The NEW Sky digibox plus II on sale now uses a 40gb
hard disk combined with sophisticated software to record
the original digital broadcast stream, meaning all recordings
will be the same digital quality as live viewing.
This means the Sky Plus digibox has the benefits of
digital satellite, while delivering a whole new level
of control to television viewing, this includes the
ability to record one programme while watching another,
pause live TV and automatically record episodes of your
favourite series - all without the need for video tapes
and all in superb digital quality!
The record and pause facility do not require or rely
on any telephone connection. From October 1st the Sky
+ service is free to subscribers of premium packages.
Subscribers with Family pack or Value pack will continue
to be charged £10 per month for the service. |
